Welcome to DT Fencing. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the DT Fencing application and related services.
By using the application, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Description of the App
DT Fencing is a professional fencing competition management tool designed for clubs, coaches, and tournament organizers.
The app helps users organize fencing competitions using formats based on the rules of the FIE (Fédération Internationale d’Escrime).
The app may be used for:
- Club competitions
- Training tournaments
- Internal competitions
- Local fencing events
DT Fencing provides tools for managing:
- Pool rounds
- Direct elimination brackets
- Team matches
- Match scheduling
- Score recording
- Competition results display
2. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for all information entered into the app.
This may include:
- Fencer names
- Club names
- Match scores
- Competition results
- Tournament schedules
Users must ensure that the information they enter or publish is accurate and appropriate.
DT Fencing is not responsible for errors in competition results caused by incorrect data entry.
3. Competition Information Display
The app allows users to display competition information, including match results and rankings, to spectators.
This may include:
- Screen displays
- Projector displays
- Shared results
- QR code viewing pages
Any public display or sharing of competition information is performed solely at the discretion of the user organizing the event.
4. Data Storage
Competition data created within the app is stored:
- Locally on the user’s device
- Optionally in the user’s personal Apple iCloud account (CloudKit)
DT Fencing developers do not store or access user competition data.
Users are responsible for managing their own data.
5. No Personal Data Collection
DT Fencing does not collect personal user information.
The app does not require:
- Account registration
- Personal identification information
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
All competition data is created and managed by the user.
6. iCloud Synchronization
The app may use Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to synchronize competition data between the user’s devices.
iCloud services are provided and managed by Apple.

7. App Availability
While we strive to maintain a reliable app, DT Fencing does not guarantee that the application will always be:
- Error-free
- Uninterrupted
- Fully compatible with all devices

DT Fencing is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
The developers are not liable for:
- Competition disputes
- Incorrect results due to user input errors
- Data loss caused by device issues or cloud service problems
- Event scheduling conflicts
Users should verify competition results independently when necessary.
9. Updates to the App
The application may be updated periodically to:
- Improve performance
- Fix bugs
- Add new features
- Maintain compatibility with operating systems
Continued use of the app after updates indicates acceptance of these changes.
